Keith Moore, Senior Pastor

Keith has been married to Allison since 1973. They have two daughters, Mary Beth and Leigh Anne, and their son-in-law Josh. Keith serves as the senior and founding pastor of Dogwood Church.  He leads the church in making more and better followers of Christ who love God and love people here and around the world. Keith's heart is talking to God for and about people and talking to people for and about God.

Michael Ray, Executive Pastor

Michael has been married to his beautiful wife Becky for 15 years. They have one son, Parker who is 9. Michael's responsbilities change moment by moment! And he has the joy of leading the church staff through ministry.

Elaine Gardner, Pastoral Assistant

Elaine is married to her husband Mickey and they have two grown children, Micah and Abbey. She is the assistant to both Pastor Keith and Michael Ray. She coordinates their calendars, handles correspondence and for Pastor Keith, helps with research and manages his library. She does such a variety of things that Pastor Keith calls her “Miss-Elaine-eous”.

     Hobbies: Reading, watching old movies, crafting, riding bikes and hanging out with my family and friends.

  • What excites you about Dogwood? The new people that are coming in our doors and the potential we have to impact this world for Christ. Dogwood people that serve to make the ministry of Christ happen here and around the world. I can see the hands and feet of Christ at work among the people of Dogwood.

Holli Redlich, Host Director

Holli has been married to her wonderful husband Ray for 32 years. They have three daughters who are all married, three grandchildren and one more on the way. Holli is in charge of the "face" of Dogwood. She is responsible for hosting and supporting the weekend worship services. She also assists with worship planning, hospital visits and ministering to those in special life circumstances.

John Warnock, Director of External Ministries

John and his lovely wife Lindsay have two boys, Caleb & Luke. John’s role here at Dogwood is to help the church become an entity that would be missed by the community and the world if it didn’t exist. This is accomplished locally by helping Dogwood members and attenders get connected in organizations that are meeting the needs of people. On a global scale, Dogwood has adopted 4 target regions where we are helping to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people.

I am excited about our church’s potential to continue to impact God’s kingdom.  Having been on staff for over 10 years, and also being a kid who grew up at Dogwood (Braelinn), I have had the privilege to see God transform many people’s lives through the work and ministry of the people of Dogwood. I believe that God has even more in store for His church.

Scott Goodspeed, Director of Adult Ministries

Scott is married to his wife Stephanie, and they have three children: Chelsea, Cord & Lainey. Scott & Stephanie are from the Sooner State and proud graduates of the University of Oklahoma [Boomer Sooner!]. Scott attended Regent School of Divinity & Liberty Theological Seminary. Before entering full-time ministry, Scott has worked in a variety of positions in the Defense and Intelligence Community. He is excited about helping adults at Dogwood become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Jack Smith, Evangelism Director

Jack has been married to his lovely bride Shirley, for 50 years! They recently celebrated their Golden Anniversary with a surprise party from their loving children. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Jack is responsible for leading Dogwood's evangelism ministry which seeks to train and engage members in praying, inviting and cultivating those outside of Dogwood and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with them. Growing and assimilating new believers is also a huge part of what he does.

Carmen Bowra, Adult & Evangelism Ministries Assistant

Carmen is married to her husband Matt, and they have three grown children. Meghan is engaged to be married in the spring and lives in California. Leane recently graduated from Brenau University and is an occupational therapist. Michael is attending North Georgia College. Carmen is responsible for assisting Adult, External and Evangelism Ministries. They definitely know how to keep her on her toes! Her name is probably in the bulletin more than anyone else for contact info.

Daniel Ward, Director of Student Ministries  

Daniel is married to his sweet wife Jessica and are celebrating their 9th anniversary this year. They have three, thats right, THREE boys in the house. Joshua, Caleb and their newest addition, Jackson. It's like a year-round wrestling camp at the Ward house! However, don't feel bad for Jessica, because with all men in the house, mom is the queen. Daniel is responsible for overseeing the vision and direction of ministry to students from 6th grade through college. One of his specific responsibilities is the teaching ministry for the 7th through 12th grade students.

    Hobbies: Did I mention 3 boys? I have no hobbies! If I did I would like for it to be Ultimate Frisbee, football, art and music.

Leigh Anne Harwell, Associate Director of Student Ministries

Leigh Anne and her husband Josh were married in March of 2007 and are enjoying life together. They are blessed with a wonderful extended family and look forward to having kids in the future. Leigh Anne has the privilege of investing in the spiritual lives of middle and high school students and equipping adult and student volunteers for ministry. She is specifically responsible for discipleship, ministry to girls, event and worship programming, and development of student worship leaders.

Cindy Ervin, (Interim) Director of Preschool

Cindy is married to Robert and they have two grown children, Amy and Paul. Cindy is responsible for the preschool environment here at Dogwood. She loves playing (one of the ways preschoolers learn) and singing with children as well as finding creative, fun ways to teach them about Jesus while coming alongside others who do the same.

Susan Butler, Next Generation Ministry Administrator

Susan is married to Steven and has four grown children; Brandon, Jansen, Brett and Jenah. Their pride and joy is their six year old grandson, Kane. He just started kindergarten this year! And the most fun part of Susan’s week is her “Maw Maw” days. Susan is responsible for assisting the Next Generation Ministry with all of their administrative needs and special events. This includes preschool, elementary, and student ministries.

Bill Wyler, Director of Business Administration

Bill is married to his lovely wife, Karen. They have one daughter, Mandi, who lives in Nashville, TN. Bill is responsible for leading the department that handles the business and facilities aspect of Dogwood.

Marilyn Hubbard, Finance Associate

Marilyn is married to her husband Mike and they have three children, Marcy, Mikey, and Matthew. Their daughter is engaged to be married in the spring, Mikey works for Yamaha and Matthew is in the tenth grade at Starrs Mill. Of course, their family wouldn’t be complete without their dog, Muffy. Marilyn is responsible for the careful handling of the money here at Dogwood. She counts it, records tithes and gifts and writes the checks to pay the bills. She also handles personnel and assists Bill Wyler with any building or administrative issues.

    Hobbies:  I love spending time with family, attending sporting events- but as a spectator only, taking walks, reading and, of course, shopping!
    Hometown: Born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio, and most of my family is still there.
    Favorite Sports Team:  I cheer for the UGA football team and any team which someone in my family is a part of - like Dogwood softball, Starr’s Mill High School football, Big Blue Soccer.
    Favorite movie or book:  The Fred Factor is an all-time favorite.  Read it a long time ago, but love the message.

Nancy Eden, Receptionist/Office Assistant

Nancy has been married to her husband Tom for 28 years and they have three grown children.  Their oldest, Brian, is a police officer in College Park and he and his wife, Mandy, just had their first baby, beautiful Olivia! Their daughter, Jennifer, works at J93.3 and son, David, who is newly married to Lauren, works at the Chick-fil-A Headquarters. Nancy is vital to the success of Dogwood. She greets visitors and is the lovely voice that answers the phone. She also handles pastoral care & prayer needs, as well as many other administrative duties.

Jo Howard, Membership Assistant

Jo has been married for 43 years to David and they have four grown children, Terri Hunnicutt, Sandi Thomas, Todd Howard, and Eddie Maddox. From that wonderful family, they have 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. You can tell their love for family when you walk into her office and see the myriad of pictures dotting the desk. Jo is responsible for making sure that everyone who attends or visits Dogwood is in the database system with up-to-date information. She is also responsible for keeping attendance for each ministry area and sends out a Weekly Attendance Report reporting all the results of the past week.

    Hobbies: Scrapbooking and playing with grandchildren.

  • What excites you about Dogwood? I’m excited about the building of the new Children’s Building! Our children and their workers need this new facility. I also love the new church office building. It is great to be on the church property and for everyone to know where the office is located.

Cathy Berggren, Executive Director of Real Life Center

Cathy is married to her husband Daniel, and they have five children, and three adorable grandkids. Cathy is responsible for overseeing the ministry of the Real Life Center and the Real Life Store – (Doing our best do make a difference in the lives of those that are hurting!)

Vicki Troyer, Volunteer Coordinator, RLC

Vicki is married to her wonderful husband Steve and they have two children, Melissa who is a freshman in college and Jake their 8th grader. Vicki juggles two jobs at the Real Life Center. As volunteer coordinator she recruits, schedules, trains and manages the individual volunteers and small groups that come to serve. As the food drive coordinator she solicits and organizes food drives in the community with churches, schools, and local businesses. She is also the person responsible for running the food drives at Dogwood. So the next time you see a grocery bag on your car window, help Vicki out by donating!

David Howard, Bookkeeper, RLC

David is married to his lovely wife, Jo. They have four children, twelve grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. David's responsibilities are leading a small group, working as the bookkeeper for the Real Life Center, and generally whatever Jo tells him to do!

Dana Eisfelder, Assistant Director, RLC & RLS

Dana serves as Assistant Director for the Real Life Center and Real Life Store, assisting with the management and oversight of both.  She invites you to stop by the Real Life Store soon and often for some great bargains and to support a wonderful ministry.  Dana is married to her best friend, Brian, who is a draftsman with Vintage Interiors.  He enjoys the outdoors, especially playing golf.  They live in Fayetteville.

Hobbies: Is eating out a hobby? My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband, but I also enjoy watching movies, reading, bowling, walking, and much more.

Jan Fender, Client Care Coordinator, RLC
 
Jan has been married to her wonderful husband, Toney, for 24 years.  They have lived in Fayette County for 20 years and have raised three daughters here.  Sarah, 19, is a sophomore at Georgia College & State University.  Abbey, 17, is a junior at The Campus in Peachtree City, and Becca, 15, is a sophomore at Starr's Mill High School.  Jan has the privilege of working as the Client Care Coordinator at the Real Life Center where God is changing her life one client at a time!

  • What excites you about Dogwood:  I love the giving spirit of the people that attend Dogwood.  They are so willing to reach out and minister to those in need in their community.  They are wonderful at responding to the needs of the Real Life Center whether we are asking for food or funds!
