Frequently Asked Questions:

What is your discipline policy?
One Word Rules! RESPECT. We ask kids to Respect...God, church, leaders, friends and themselves.  In order to maintain this policy, we will take the proper steps to ensure that all the kids have a great time in our Children's area.

Is early pick up allowed?
We ask that you do not pick up your child early from his/her class.  Parents should come for their child immediately following the service, but not more than 5 minutes early so that teaching time is not interrupted.  If you have an emergency, a coordinator can assist you.

What is your well child policy?
Children who show signs of illness, such as a runny nose, persistent cough, fever, etc., cannot be accepted into their class.  A detailed Well Child Policy is available at the check-in desk.

When will my child be promoted to the next grade?
Our plan is to promote our kids with the same dates as the school system.  Promotion Sunday occurs each year in August on the week your children start back to school. Children in our bed-babies, creeper and toddler classes are promoted throughout the year based on their development.

May my child bring his own toys to class?
We ask that your children do not bring toys to church.  This also includes pocketknives, toy guns, etc. Please do not allow your children to bring these items to class.

What tools do you use to teach my child?
Please see the pages specific to the age of your child.

How do you minister to my child?
We take every available opportunity to help lay a spiritual foundation in the lives of your children.  This can be done from bed-babies through elementary ages.  Jesus' love is taught through our voice and attitudes.  Everything we do will be to help your child grow in relationship with Jesus Christ.

Is childcare available for special events?
Yes.  Please help us provide the best for your child by making reservations one week prior to an event so that proper planning and preparation may take place.

When should I drop off and pick up my child from his/her classroom?
We receive children fifteen minutes prior to any event.  However, we strictly enforce the security system outlined in your Children's Ministry Handbook.  We ask that you secure your child immediately following the close of the event.

What is the food policy?
Infants will be fed formula, milk, juice, or water as provided in plastic bottles. (All items MUST be labeled.) Toddlers, two's and three's are served crackers and water at each event. If there is an event that requires children to be fed other foods, we will notify the parents of the menu.
